High Dynamic Range is a technique used in imaging and photography to reproduce a greater range of luminosity than is possible with standard digital imaging or photographic techniques! The technique seems to be most often used for landscapes, cityscape, and gritty portraits of athletes, but it could be applied to any type of picture. Be creative!
