Pumpkin Design
1. Save the image below (this is my actual pumpkin this year) to your Computer/Chromebook and drag it from the downloads folder into the canvas in Google Drawings. Resize the canvas to fit the pumpkin and then use the POLYLINE and CURVE tools to design the pumpkin's face. You could use shapes but those are for amateurs, we're moving beyond triangle eyes here people!
2. Choose one of the 6 principles of design and exaggerate it in your pumpkin's face design (don't choose symmetrical balance as your principle though = too easy/expected for a face design like this, you could do asymmetrical balance though). No tracing, this should be totally original, so use your imagination!
3. When you're done, save it as a .png file, join this shared Google photos gallery, and upload it here.
4. Then type an explanation of which principle of design you were intentionally demonstrating/exaggerating in the info. section next to your photo in the album (type where it says add a description) e.g. I was intentionally distorting proportion by making one huge eye and one tiny one to enhance the creepiness.
I might choose a creative/interesting one and use it as inspiration for carving my pumpkin this year!
