Colorado Flag Remix
Click on this link and join the shared album to upload/turn in your design https://goo.gl/photos/c3XPyTxxHdYtUeQAA also title it with your name on the info tab.
Reinvent, re-envision, rethink, reimagine, or remix our state flag. Be creative, think outside the box, a lot of these have been done already (see above), so what will your unique solution to this design problem be?
As part of Youth Art Month in Colorado, the Council for Art Education is sponsoring a art/design contest where you have the opportunity to redesign the Colorado flag. One overall winner will receive a $1,500 check and the winning student's teacher will receive $2,000 worth of art supplies for their school. The winning design will also be made into a real 3' x 5' flag and flown at the National Art Education Association conference in New York, NY this year. Here are some submissions from years past...I think we have a decent chance.
I will choose two student designs to print and bring to the Colorado Art Education Association conference in Breckenridge, CO that I will be attending Nov. 3-6, 2016.
See below for the rubric/guidelines on the assignment (drag it to your desktop):

The Youth Art Month logo must appear somewhere on your flag. Drag the image below to your desktop, make it small, and slap it in one of the corners so it doesn't detract from your design.
